The Jags have announced the arrival of three new players at Seafield Park in the past 24 hours.

Josh Race, Conor MacPhee and Jodran Laidlaw have joined the Grantown Highland League club.

New boss Bobby Beckwith and the club have signed MacPhee from Loch Ness FC.

The former Loch Ness captain has won the North Caledonian League with the side and has also claimed several trophies and a league title in junior football with Nairn St Ninian JFC.

Conor has played for Clach, Fort William Inverness city, Nairn saints and Loch Ness FC.

Jordan Laidlaw has also won the North Caledonian League and other trophies whilst he was with Invergordon FC.

He has also played for Loch Ness FC and Avoch AFC most recently.

Meanwhile, a more familiar face is also returning with the club announcing the signing of Josh Race.

A Strathspey Thistle spokesman said: “We are absolutely delighted to announce the signing of former Strathspey player Josh Race from Loch Ness FC.

“Josh has had a very busy few years in football and is returning to us having started with our youth ranks.

“He is a creative midfielder with an eye for goal and was also a North Caledonian League winner with Loch Ness. He is a very talented player who has incredible work rate.”

He was a Ross County youth player for three seasons and has been with Loch Ness for the past three seasons.
