Who will be next owner of one of Aviemore’s longest running bars and restaurants?
One of Aviemore’s longest running bars and restaurants - the Ski-ing Doo - is looking for a new owner.
The venue at Myrtlefield Shopping Centre has been operated by the current owners for 10 years and has come to the market as they wish to focus their attention on other venues.
The sellers have said the quirky décor in the restaurant and bar, as well as the historical memorabilia, provides a real feel of authenticity.
The restaurant is at ground floor level and can accommodate around 37 while the bar – The Doo Below, accessed via a staircase, has a further 60 covers and a small stage area.
The selling agents Christie & Co have said the business is consistently busy with local customers, tourists and visitors to the Aviemore area.
Simon Watson, the business agent handling the sale, commented: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to sell The Ski-ing Doo.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for a new owner to continue its 30 plus years of trading history and would suit a hands-on operator or couple looking to benefit from the rich history.”
The Ski-ing Doo is on the market with a leasehold asking price of £50,000.
