Police enquiries on-going after alleged assault near centre of Aviemore





Police enquiries are on-going after a man was allegedly assaulted near the centre of Aviemore yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred next to the Best-one convenience store on the village’s Grampian Road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Strathy: “At about 5.05pm on Friday (April 18) we were called to a report of a man having been assaulted in Cairngorm Avenue in Aviemore.

“Officers attended and a 40-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
