Badenoch and Strathspey's Thunder in the Glen 2023 roaring already

Hundreds of tickets for next year's Harley-Davidson rally in and around Aviemore have already been snapped up.

Within hours of the triumphant closure of last weekend's event, which drew thousands of bikers and enthusiasts to the strath, the organisers were hard at work preparing the next year's silver anniversary event.

“The level of support we had after those two lost years was simply humbling,” confirmed co-ordinator George ‘Mad Dog’ McGuire.

“The atmosphere at all the events and especially the ride-out – by far the biggest and most successful ever – was utterly phenomenal and we can’t wait for 2023’s silver anniversary.

It’s estimated that at the height of this year's long weekend there were some 5000 motorbikes in and around Aviemore and the wider, providing a huge, much-needed boost for the local economy.

And it wasn’t just the bikes that returned – they brought the sun back, too.
