Weather warning predicted at Aviemore resort by TV star!
Scotland’s favourite weather man will bring extra festive cheer to Macdonald Aviemore Resort next week.
Sean Batty is to give two special readings of his new children’s book The Worst Christmas Weather Ever, having added the renowned family friendly resort to his exciting book tour, forecasting a festive treat for the strath on both December 4 and December 21.
The star will bring his heart-warming new holiday tale to life as part of the resort’s highly popular Santa Breaks. Full of festive fun, laughter, and a little bit of weather-related mayhem, The Worst Christmas Weather Ever is the debut children’s book from the charming presenter and was written to introduce young minds to the issues of climate change.
In the tale, a group of young adventurers face off with wild weather on Christmas Eve, discovering that even the most unexpected storms can bring surprises and joy.
Fans of Sean’s weather forecasts will love his relaxed storytelling style, while also engaging in important message about the need to protect the world we live in.
Sean said: “This book brings together two of my favourite things – Christmas and the weather – and I am very excited to be unveiling it to young readers at Macdonald Aviemore Resort, one of Scotland’s most scenic holiday destinations.
“The event will be a spectacular blend of festive fun, laughter and creating memories with families.
“While it is a light-hearted tale of Santa’s adventures, I hope to shine a light on the very real and important issues of climate change and inspire the younger generation to take an active role in protecting our planet.”
Sean will be delivering readings of his book on next Wednesday and again on Saturday the 21st.
“The event is available for anyone who is staying at Macdonald Aviemore Resort for a Santa Break to attend, with an allocation of 100 tickets for local families to attend the reading on 4 December also released,” said a resort spokesperson.
“The readings will be held in the resort’s auditorium at 7.30pm. Doors open at 7.15pm – come unwrap a magical evening with us!
