Police launch dashcam footage appeal after attempted theft of quad bikes from farm on Grantown-on-Spey

Police are appealing for information or witnesses who may have spotted suspicious activity in the Grantown-on-Spey area last Friday, after the attempted theft of quad bikes.

The incident, which took place on Friday, March 21 at around 3.20am, involved three men who attempted to steal the bike from a farm, police say.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses or footage from other drivers who may have dashcam footage from nearby.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.20am on Friday March 21, 2025, three men attempted to steal quad bikes from a farm in the Grantown-on-Spey area.

“We are appealing to anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious, or who may have been driving in that area around that time and has dashcam footage to contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number CR/0110971/25.
