RockNess comedy line-up announced

ROCKNESS has announced the comedy line-up for the festival's Howard's End tent from June 10 to 12.

And heading up Sunday's bill is hit young Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss.

Others confirmed today include Irish veteran Sean Hughes, one-liner hit-machine the Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III and comic maverick Parrot.

Friday's bill is topped by Ian Cognito who has been banned from a host of UK comedy clubs for his risk-taking material, with Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2010, exiled Aussie Ro Campbell who appeared at the Ironworks a few months ago, plus the Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III.

Other names include Erik Lampaert, Bruce Fummey, Marty McLean, newcomer Mikey Adams, James Kirk, MC Ray Bradshaw, Chris Henry, Mac Star, Eddie Cassidy, Darren Connell and John Walker.

Irishman Sean Hughes heads up Saturday's line-up which includes Andrew Vincent, Scott Agnew, Mark Nelson, Joel Dommett, Gus Lymburn, Julia Sutherland, Paul Alcroft, Sarah-May Philo plus newcomers David Innes and Matt Winning.
