TWO male pupils at Fortrose Academy have been reported to the Children’s Reporter following intelligence-led enquiries on Thursday, May 19 in connection with alleged offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Thirty-six-year-old Douglas MacDonald of 7 Deans Road, Fortrose, was also arrested on May 19.

He appeared in private at Tain Sheriff Court on Monday on one charge of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

The case was continued for further enquiries and MacDonald was granted bail.

Police released a statement earlier this week stating they would like to thank the school and parents for their co-operation.
