Senior policeman gets RockNess send off

By SPP Reporter

A SENIOR policeman responsible for keeping the traffic flowing at RockNess has been given a special presentation by festival organisers before he travels into retirement.

Inspector John Smith has been in charge of the transport and worked with the festival since the first RockNess in 2006.

A spokeswoman for the festival said that organisers wanted to thank him for his help and support over the past five years.

Organisers treated him to lunch at exclusive Aldourie Castle and presented him with a framed aerial photograph of the festival site "from all at RockNess."
