Superstar DJs Chase and Status have announced that their gig in Inverness has been postponed.

They were due to play at the Ironworks on Saturday evening but have called it off it due to “unavoidable commitments”.

In its place, The Ironworks has arranged a free entry night with local DJs Ross Lyall (Filth) plus Alan MacPherson and Brian MacKenzie (Audiolife), plus others to be announced. Doors open 10pm.

Chase and Status hope to announce a new date for their Ironworks gig in the near future.

It is the second high-profile event to be postponed at the Ironworks in the past week. On Wednesday The Japanese Popstars postponed their gig with just a few hours' notice. The band blamed a clash with recording commitments for the decision to reschedule the concert.
