The two day historical celebration is one of Scotland’s largest historical re-enactment events and a key part of Historic Environment Scotland’s (HES) Summer events programme, showcasing a living, colourful timeline depicting over 2,000 years of Scottish history from the Viking era up to the First and Second World Wars.

The event also takes place again tomorrow.
