An Aviemore beauty salon has closed for two days deciding that with the Covid-19 pandemic it's better safe than sorry.
Beautique Aviemore, based at Myrtlefield, told the Strathy: "We are closed for a couple days on the basis of doing a thorough deep clean.
"We are taking all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of all our clients, and also to try remain open through these unprecedented times, as we know how much everyone has missed the hairdressers!"
The spokesperson clarified the situation: "It is not a staff member or any of our families here at the salon.
"An external client has since tested positive, we are taking extra precautions by having a thorough deep clean and getting staff members tested."
