Badenoch and Strathspey roads are returning to pre-wintry storm conditions, say Highland Road.

The roads conditions report issued at 8.25am confirms wet roads with positive temperatures throughout the area.

“No winter action needed and no known overnight issues” a spokesperson confirmed.

On surrounding Inverness roads surfaces are wet, but otherwise no known problems.

On the Nairn side, again roads are wet with temperatures having reason back above zero.
