Traffic is being diverted from the Carrbridge junction on the A9 after a road incident on the Dulnain Bridge road.

An inspection was called for after a lorry was reported to have struck a railway bridge at 1.30pm.

A spokesperson for Network Rail Scotland said: "We were made aware of a bridge strike near Carrbridge.

“Train services continued to operate at reduced speed as a precaution.

“Engineers carried out a thorough inspection and identified no structural damage, allowing normal service to resume."

Police Scotland have confirmed the incident on the A938.

There are no reports of injuries and the recovery of the vehicle involves has been arranged.
