A9 closed outside Newtonmore after crash





Diversions are in place on the A9 at Raliabeg, Newtonmore after this evening's road accident.

The crash happened at 6.56pm.

Currently the road is closed both north and south bound.

Emergency service are attending.

Traffic Scotland reports that traffic is being diverted northbound:

Turn left at A889 junction at Dalwhinnie onto the A889 and follow the road until Drumgask Farm – Turn right onto the A86 and continue on the road until A9 junction at Kingussie.

Distance: 19.6 miles.

And southbound:

Turn right onto the A86 and follow the road until Drumgask Farm – Turn left onto the A889 and continue on the road until A9 junction at Dalwhinnie.

Distance: 19.6 miles.
